I may just find the time....

Since we're moving, I have to find a way to keep the family updated and all at their own leisure since they're all a bunch of narcissistic bisshesss who think the world revolves around them and that I should call, answer and send pictures to them 24/7 when THEY want me to. Psshhhh...yeah, right. Anywho...found the perfect way to do it. Yep, you guessed it...here :o)

In all honesty, I need to find time to do this. The boys grow up so quickly and taking them so far away from their family takes that experience away from all of them. With Grams being in her mid 90's...making sure she sees them grow up is especially important. So...for Grams, I will keep this updated. I have to. Plus, I always have crap to say...perfect soapbox for a blabber mouth like me.

So here's to my last 34 days in Hawaii...I'm nervous, excited, scared, petrified and thrilled all rolled up into one big ball of me. I spent my whole life trying to get off this rock...and now that it's finally happening, well, it's a little scary. Don't get me wrong...I hate Hawaii. I hate the schools, I hate the rent, I hate the traffic, I hate the craptastic hospitals, I hate the cost of living, I hate almost everything. But 29 years...that gets you a little attached to things. You know, things like shave ice, malasadas, dim sum, laulau...stuff like that. I'm going to miss my family...and them being a 15 minute drive away. I'm going to miss driving past the ocean everyday...even though I hate going to the beach. I'm going to miss the friends I've made and kept over the years. Even the ones I didn't keep. I'm going to miss my cousin and her kids, even though I don't see them much. I'll miss Jenners and my future-daughters-in-law...even though I don't see them much, either. I'll definitely miss Haupia ice cream. Oh yeah, I am really, really going to miss that. But it's a good move. It's a good move for them. School wise, money wise, job stability wise, oppurtunity wise, not-having-to-pay-crazy-state-tax-for-nothing-getting-done wise...just positive in every way. *sniff sniff* But that doesn't mean I won't miss Hawaii. I will always hate/love Hawaii.
